WeiberWirbel means something like "Whirling Women". The tribe WeiberWirbel is located in Zurich where its memebers have been dancing Oriental and other ethnic dances for many years.

WeiberWirbel was founded ca. in 1999 when Miriam Missura and MEISSOUN who independently got interested in Tribal Style bellydance found each other to practice together as well as to create new ideas and movements, share experiences and material. The next member was Susanne Werner who also contributed a lot to the style of WeiberWirbel.

Everything in life is flowing... and so are the dancers of this tribe. Miriam and Susanne have sailed off to new shores while Claudia, Aziza, Agnes and Katharina joined over the years.

The active members at the moment are MEISSOUN, Claudia and Katharina.
