WeiberWirbel means something like Women Whirling in English. The tribe of the whirling women is located in Zurich, Switzerland, where the dancers have been dancing raks sharki and other ethnical dance forms for many years. The founders of WeiberWirbel are Miriam Missura and MEISSOUN who independently became interested in Tribal Style and got together to practice, create new ideas and movements and exchange experiences an material. Next to join them was Susanne Werner who also contributed a lot to the tribe's dance style. Just like everything else, the members of a dance troupe can change... Miriam and Susanne have gone other ways of dance, instead Claudia, Aziza and Agnes joined the tribe and we are training two new members to keep the flow alive. WeiberWirbel do not only dance for themselves but work towards public appearances. See some pictures in the gallery. By the way: The two other important activities of this tribe besides dancing are shopping and eating!!!
